Legacy Films
Our legacy film packages are tailored to offer the preservation of your life story as you would like it.
Whether you prefer a simple recount of your favourite stories, or would like a more documentary- style media, inclusive of b-roll and photographs, we have packages suitable everyone and every budget.
Production
No matter the package you choose, the production of your story is broken down into pre-production, production and post-production.
The pre-production process consists of documenting the important elements of your life you wish to preserve. We ask a number of questions and conduct significant historical research around significant life events. If it would help, we can conduct research with you on-site, and include ancestry and genealogy searches. We do use a camera to record these sessions, and can include this footage if required.
During production, we aim to as minimally disruptive as possible, preferring a relatively small set up of a camera, lighting and a lavalier microphone. This small set up allows for a minimally distracting environment, reducing the pressure of our subjects to perform. Depending on the package chosen, the hours spent recording will vary, however we are flexible if we are required of film on different days.
Post-production
During post-production, we work tirelessly to create a final product personalised to you and your preferred style. Our process consists of watching your footage a number of times, combining music, photographs, b-roll (if applicable) to create a memorable outcome.
Before adding any final touches, we send you a copy of the film, where you are free to request adjustments to your life story, whether it be changing or adding more images, requesting to add b-roll or adjusting the filming sequence chosen.
Upon delivery, we submit your legacy film as well as the raw production footage. We provide copies through a number of different modes, to ensure the story of your life is never lost.
